WOW!!!!!

So I signed up at this site.
And I gave them this picture of me with it all hanging out!!! I found the smallest shirt I could and didn't suck anything in and yes I am embarrassed but I believe that is what a before picture is all about.


So this is what the site thinks I will look like after loosing 50 pounds.

I keep taking a double look at this picture. I know it kinda looks strange but Wow could I look like that????
I think I may just print out about 100 of these pictures and put them up everywhere to show me the possibility's!!!

Stupid People

With our latest dump of about 1 foot of snow in less then 12 hours I have a few little things to say.

Since 1990 it has been a law that you are not allowed to deposit snow or ice on a roadway.

So you know what that means??? Keep your damn snow in your own yard. Ya I know you are running out of room, we all are. And really if it wasn’t a law isn’t it common sense not to do it?? Especially when you live on a busy road??? Try getting squeezed over by a bigger vehicle and hitting that pile of snow that was pushed out. Major accident waiting to happen.

Watch your self or this could be happening at your house next.

Turn your damn lights on.

I know I know you have daytime running lights, but guess what… When they are on you have no tail light. So that means the guys driving in the other lane can see you just fine but the guy right behind you can’t cause you got no tail lights. Don’t believe me, do a Google search and check it out, or read this, or better yet go on out and check your vehicle. It’s not hard to flip the little switch every time you get in, hell it even dings for ya if you leave them on. It couldn’t be simpler.

Clean your car!!!

Have you seen these people driving around with a foot of snow on the roof of the vehicle. I know it is not any of you reading this cause you all know better. I mean seariously I am 5 feet tall and drive a damn mini van but my roof is clean. I did have to go and find the longest extendable snow brush I could get just to get the job done but hey why would I leave it there?? Oh ya casue people are lazy!! I can't find any Ontario Law about cleaning you vechile but I think if your snow causes a proble you can be charged. So you all don't think I am crazy and the only one bitching about this subject here is another article for you.

Perma Smile!!!

I have big news. Well it's big to me and if you don't think it is then kiss my tooshie.

I am going to be a key holder at work!!!! Yup that's right they are giving me power. I will get an alarm code so that I can screw it up and see the hot cops every now and then. I get to use the safe, three to the left, two to the right and stop!! LOL
So ya tonight I learnt how to close the cashes and do the deposit and float. So easy!!! Well I say that now cause the manager was standing beside me to help me out. We will see how I do on my own. I will only be a backup key holder for now but wow I have only been there 3 months and I am getting a key. They sure do have faith in me!!
The bestest bestest part is when I close I don't have to clean!!! Yup that's right no more garbage's and sweeping for me!! Haha suckers!! LOL just kidding it is not that bad, kinda peaceful and no stress or responsibility. Wait do I want to be a key holder?? Stress, responsibility??? Hum.... Ya okay I do.

Any way I know that it has been awhile since I posted and I haven't updated you on my never ending afghan. Well guess what........ It is taking forever!!! So I kinda stoped and started some other small projects that I can screw up faster than the afghan. Like the newborn hat that I made. So very very bad!! It is wonky and kinda looks like a messed up bowl. I have now moved on to messing up a hat for Mini. So far it still looks like a hat, but hey I am not done yet still lots of time to make mistakes. One day I will take some pictures of my recent projects and show you all. But just so you don't get your hopes up I will not be posting pictures of the hat bowl cause it is just abit embarrassing.

Anyway that is my rambling for the day and I am now off to try and finish Mini's hat and watch some tv.

My Funny Little Mini!!

Mini decided this morning that we weren't moving fast enough so she dressed her self.
This should really be a Wordless Wednesday post but I couldn't wait for tomorrow.


Mini is modeling her pj pants, a shirt with the neck around her waist and my winter hat. This little girl loves her hats!!!
A few min after these pictures she put on my big leather ski doo gloves. What a look she has!!!

Lip gloss attempt

My latest homemade crafting attempt is to make lip gloss.
I use way to much chap stick!! I know this and when I went looking for some this morning and all I found was 6 empty tubes the addiction set in!!
So why not try and save some money by making my own.

I used petroleum jelly and cocco powder for chocolate lip gloss.

Here is my melting method. A kind of double boiler with a pot of water and a empty cheese whiz jar.

I want to try this again with bees wax for a more chap stick consistency.
There may be more pictures later if I attempt this again.

The search for a chair

Christmas shopping is not agreeing with me this year. I am looking for this chair.

Wal-Mart doesn't carry them anymore, only the fold out sofa. With Mini the fold out sofa would be a constant game of fold and unfold.

So now I am looking for a second hand foam chair. I don't care what the cover picture is or the condition of the cover. I plan on recovering it so it is special for Mini. All I am asking is that the foam be in good condition. So if you have a chair that you no longer want or come across please keep me in mind.

It's Offical!!!

I got the call today and my first shift at Mark's Work Wearhouse (MWWH) will be Tuesday evening. I can't wait to meet all my new co-workers and start learning all the new stuff.

Well Mini is already in bed and it is time to get Eric ready for work and me ready for bed. I have to start the early to bed early to rise practice now.

I know I am going to miss my little Mini but ya know Momma needs some grown up time.
And ya know the extra cash will not go to waste with Christmas coming up.

I know that I have said before that I am only wanted to go back to work so that I can get maternity leave. Well I just want to insure you all that I am not pregnant! I am working for me, and maybe one day will be working for my maternity leave.

Anyways that is my super duper exciting news for today!! Thanks for reading!!

Geocaching

Found a really neat site yesterday. Check this out!!
It is kinda like treasure hunting with GPS. Only you don't really get a treasure.
Once you go to the site and enter your postal code or coordinates it will tell you were the closest cache is too you. Write done the information, get your GPS and go out and find it. Once you find it write your name in the log found in the cache.
It is a great way to see new locations in your area.
Once you are comfortable with the sites and rules you can even hide your own cache for others to find.

My first find was a really easy one cause it was right across the road from my house. Although I overlooked it a few times before rereading the directions to find out that it would have bit me I was so close.

When I ran my postal code I found 20 caches within 11km. Go and run your postal code or latitude and longitude to see what adventures you can find.

This is how many there are in my area. All off the little white containers are things to find.

The Orange Cow

Introducing My New Company Name!!!!!

Yup that's right, The Orange Cow Company. Did ya giggle?? Or was it more like " What was she thinking??" Anyway that is my company for all my little crafts and hobbies, and now if I decide to sell stuff I got a name. I love it!!!

Here is my most recent sewing project. We went out to a restaurant for supper tonight and I didn't want the crayons all over the place. Plus I put a spot for some paper just in case I forget the colouring book.
It went over really well with Boo (20 months), but Mini (16months) is still not so into colouring.
Click on the picture to see it bigger and yes that is a stain on the flap. I just used scraps of fabric and hope it comes out when I wash it.

The strangest thing

The strangest thing happened to me today. I was sitting in parking lot waiting for someone and a vehicle drove in and parked across the lot from me.
Picture this... A man gets out of his LARGE silver Hummer, wearing bright running shoes, shorts, a sweater and ball cap, scruffy as all hell. He takes two little children out of the back and walks into the building.
So the part that is strange is as soon as he drove past me I felt like I was going to be sick. I literly felt like I was going to see my lunch again. I am not sure what part made me sick. If it was the amount that man must pay for fuel. Or the lovley amount of exhaust he is putting into his wonderful children's air. I mean come on. This man has no need to have a hummer, he works in a freaken building all day.
In My Opinion - If you have the money to buy a Hummer then be cool, be trendy, be nice to the environment and spend your cash on a hybrid SUV. That is so much more practical than a damn Hummer.
Did you know that the Hummer was originally an army vehicle? So it is kinda like taking a wild animal and putting it in a pastier and saying well you need to be calm now. Or using a transport to do your errands. Why would you take a work horse of a vehicle and use it to drive the kids to school and pick up the groceries??
Grrrr I just don't get some peoples minds. But I guess if you have the money to buy a Hummer then you don't need to think about gas prices or any other small insignificant thing like the impact to the environment.

Let me say this. I am not just talking about this particular man. it is anyone that dose what I described above. Oh ya and some details have been changed or left out so that people are not pointed out.

Intense Camera Hate!!

Right now I hate my camera. For some reason ever picture that has been taken since halfway through Jaykob's birthday will not come off the memory card. When I look at the pictures when the card is in the camera I can see them just fine. But when I put the card in the computer nothing. All I get is a frigin yellow caution sign.



So right now I want to smash that tiny memory card to little bitty pieces!! But no, I will not cause I have hope that somewhere some how I can get the pictures off of it.

I just tried a recovery program, but it was a demo and that means it does nothing to actually fix the problem just tells ya what the problem is. So very very helpful.
Any who, I need to go and make supper. If you have and great idea's at how to fix my memory card PLEASE let me know!!!
