Ice Cream Bar Cake

For Easter I made an Ice Cream Bar Cake you can see more about it here

Well I am finally getting a chance to post pictures of the inside of the cake.
So here you go and yes it was as good as it looks.

Hannah loved the cake and wanted seconds.

My niece had seconds and wanted more but she had to settle for licking the dish.

Look what I made!!!!

It is hard to tell from these pictures but this is the recipe I used

LAYERED ICE CREAM CAKE
Makes a 9”x 13” Pan
24 Ice cream sandwiches
8 oz. Cool Whip™
1 Hershey’s™ chocolate syrup bottle
1 Smuckers™ caramel syrup bottle
2 king size Butterfinger™ candy bars chopped up
1st layer -12 ice cream sandwiches
2nd – half of whipped cream
3rd - half of Butterfinger™ bars, Squeeze 1/2 of caramel &
chocolate over that.
4th - rest of ice cream sandwiches
5th – Cool Whip™
6th - rest of Butterfinger™, caramel & chocolate
You can freeze this and eat as desired! Yummy! Yummy!

So what I did was use a 9x9 pan and put 8 ice cream sandwiches tightly in the bottom.
Then I put 1/2 a tub of Cool Whip on top. Sprinkled with 2 broken Skor bars. (couldn't find butterfingers) then drizzled with caramel and chocolate ice cream sauce.
Put into the chest freezer so it freezes up nice and hard.

I ran out of bars and room in the pan so only one layer for us but I think it will be good.

I will take step by step pictures of it next time I make it. Well that is if it tastes half as good as it looks.
